And I can't decide whether that Araminta Potter-Malfoy girl actually is serious. I can only assume it is one big joke, because nobody can actually write something this bad and be serious about it. Or can they?

And yes, the story is as bad as the author's / main character's name.

I checked out Araminta a little ... well mainly the scathing reviews. I cant work out if she is writing pparody or straight prose but got bored quickly .

Anyone who inficts 86 Chapters on us is CRUEL.

No, I don't mind at all!
Though I usually only whine a lot about RL at dream_labyrinth. I have a fanfic account at tospareyou - which gets some new posts whenever I feel like subjecting people to my measly attempts at writing longer stories. (Mostly it is me talking about my difficulties with said story, though I do intend to use it as a launch base for the story once it's nearer to being finished.)

I truly apologise for linking Araminta. It definitely shouldn't be the first thing to remember to find in somebody's journal. I actually read through the 86 chapters, as they were really short and later on there was a lot of songfic which was easy to skip, but couldn't find the mental strength to read the sequels. At first I thought she was writing a parody. The name of the house-elf, the horrible plotline, the clichés. But she seemed to be serious about it.

30minutefics is great! The tight timeframe means you're not going to worry too much about style, so you can really get something done, which gives you an amazing feeling of accomplishment and a whole lot of experience.

Aaaaanyway, in case you didn't notice, I can be really talkative, so be sure you know what you got yourself into here. ;-)
