1. You are going for a walk. After you've walked a little way, you come to a forest. Describe the forest ...
It's light and sunny at the outskirts, but if you go in further, it gets darker. There are all kinds of birds singing, and the noise deer make walking through the woods. There are all kinds of trees, but mainly pines.
2. You walk into the forest, and find a path. Describe the path ...
It's thickly covered with pine needles and leaves, making it really comfortable to walk on. The path is wide enough to have a second person walk next to me if I wanted to go there with somebody else.
3. As you walk along the path, you find a key. Describe the key ... What do you do with the key...?
A small, silver key, rather heavy. Like a key to an old jewelry box or something. I pick it up and put it in my pocket. YOu never know what you can use it for.
4. You continue walking along the path. You find a cup. Describe the cup... What do you do with the cup...?
A metal mug like campers would take on a trip. I pick it up and set it on a tree trunk, so the person who lost it can come back and get it. If I had a backpack, I'd take it with me, because I don't like to have stuff lie around in the forest.
5. You continue your journey, and you come to some water. Describe the water... How do you get to the other side of the water...?
There's a lake. Not particularly large, but rather deep. There aren't any ducks or swans on it, and no fish in sight either. The water seems clear. No algae in there. I go around the lake.
6. You've been walking for a while. As you continue, the path divides: One branch goes uphill, and is twisted, narrow, and rocky; the other branch slopes downhill, and is wide and smooth. Which way do you go...? Why...?
The narrow one. It looks more promising, and everybody who reads fairy tales knows that the comfortable paths never lead anywhere interesting.
7. Next, you come to a field. Describe the field... How do you get to the other side of the field...?
It has not been used this year. There is some wheat growing, left over from last year, but mostly it is covered with weeds. I go right through it, picking some flowers and looking for rabbits.
8. On the other side of the field is a wall. Describe the wall... How do you get to the other side of the wall...?
It's built with old, grey stones, much higher than I am tall, and covered with vines. They must have been growing for several decades, as many branches are really thick. As the wall seems to be very long, I climb over it using the vines and spaces between the stones to place my hands and feet.
9. What is beyond the wall...?
A small cottage. All set up for two people to live there, but also comfortable for one person alone. No other sign of civilization anywhere around.
So there are my answers. I'm not a psychologist, I don't know what it means.
