I remembered what else I wanted to say:
I recently read a few pages from a book, but stopped. The author aggravated me with the constant use of "..."
As in "He was unable... it was impossible for him... he just couldn't... he didn't know how... to write proper... well-formed... legible... sentences."

Ah, the ellipsis is overused by everybody, I think. I'm as guilty of it as the next person. ~sigh~

Well, it is very helpful from time to time. But not in every second line of a page, like that particular author was using it.
