Weekend! Time to prove that more of my friends are great.
This time it's all about

correspondguy, the guy with the (unhealthy?) affection for squirrels. Don't ask me why. Ask him! correspondguy, what is is with you and the squirrels? (Somewhat of an) Answer is here.

Anyway. Once upon a time,

wolflady26 mentioned a very interesting post on the topic of addiction. Or rather a blogathon.
I am currently trying to find that first entry again, but I am not sure whether I got the right one yet. But I found one sentence that I love. As a pagan, my God can like me more than your God likes you. from this entry. EDIT: I found the first entry again (I think) and can't believe it was in July. I had thought it had been earlier.

So,

correspondguy is the person whose posts frequently hit very close to home. I have also learned a lot about things I had never really thought about. His entries are informative both about his personal opinions and general information. (like this one) What else would you expect from a historian?

Things I know about him is that he used to do cross-country, which to me is an impressive thing.
He has a dog and a girlfriend, both mentioned here. (And maybe I should have rather said a girlfriend and a dog than the other way round, and I also think it is a wife, not a girlfriend anymore. But you get the point.) He claims he doesn't like dogs. Yeah right.
He also owns two cats. Really cute cats.

He has a job and is studying to become a lawyer at the same time. Seeing the workload some of my friends in law school have to deal with, I suspect he has a time turner or any other way of having more than 24 hours in a day. (Among other things, reasons for going to law school are here)

He also is the person that made me open an email by an unknown sender (him), just because David Bowie was mentioned in the subject line. Usually I am very careful about deleting mails from people I don't know. Must have been the power of the squirrel that made me open that one.

Sometimes he seems to lack self-confidence, even though in my eyes he should be really proud of all the things he has achieved. And he can cook!! (Or rather bake.)

He has a great sense of humor. He also is a very honest person. Having a hard time being honest myself, he is somewhat of a role model for me.

He also is a writer, but what else would you expect from somebody on my flist.
"All of my lovers have been geniuses. It's the one thing on which I insist." I forgot who said that. But change "lovers" to "friends", and there you have you and me.
