I'm behaving as if this was my last day on this planet. Silly me.
I am going to be back here next weekend. I actually didn't really plan it that way, but the choir has a big concert next Saturday, and Andreas (the choir master) asked me to be there if I could possibly make it. He needs every soprano available. And yeah, I am a pretty good singer.
So I'm going to leave for home on Friday as soon as possible, and hopefully make it to the rehearsal on Friday night. A bit unlikely, as Friday traffic on the roads I need to take will be pretty bad. But there's another rehearsal on Saturday morning.
So I need to pack for only a week.
But still, there is the spectre of moving out looming on the horizon. I walk around my room and think about what books and furniture I want to take with me. Pretty much everything except my bed. (Because it is a loft bed - looks pretty much like this one - and while it's practical for a teenager it isn't something I'd want as an adult.) And of course I will take Billy. Actually, all five Billys I have. (For those non-IKEA people out there, Billy is the name of a bookshelf. See here. I love them.)
For next week, I need clothes and a sleeping bag for staying at the place my brother found, and enough stuff to survive that one week. Not too bad. And I also decided that cleaning my room can also be done next weekend. Though that is not for practical reasons but just because I'm lazy.
My parents aren't home tonight. So I watched the beginning of An officer and gentleman for the third (fourth? fifth?) time. And I think I'll watch Labyrinth again.

I watched MTV made this afternoon. I love that show. I loved it more when they had it subtitled instead of dubbed, but it's still good. Though I fear that the German episodes they are going to make will suck. I just know they will.
Anyway, they had this guy who was something of a computer geek and wanted to have dates. And his coach actually managed. Gave him a decent haircut and some nice clothes, without actually changing his character. Which is why I like the show. It seems more real than the shows where they get you beauty surgery to make you look like Brad Pitt or whatever. (And I don't ever want to look like Brad Pitt, anyway!)

Okay, end of pointless rambling now. And writing blablabla in the cubject line brought a silly song to my mind. Ich lieb dich nicht, du liebst mich nicht. da da da... Anybody who knows this song will now plan to kill me. Go ahead.
I should probably pack stuff. But I'm not going to now, because I don't want to. So there.

EDIT: There are still no updates for Getting the hang of Thursdays, a fact that I dissaprove of.

I don't wanna speak American. It just happens. And I still spell it spectre because then it reminds me of James Bond. :-)

:-D Definitely.
The owner of IKEA is the richest man in the world, and I think he deserves it for giving us things like Billy.
