My brother and I just came in from a morning spend in the garden. Picking up apples, shaking apples off tree, picking up apples. Picking up walnuts, shaking walnuts off tree, picking up walnuts. Cutting back flowers and shrubs.

Then he sat down on the couch behind me and looked through pet pictures. There are, apparently, very few categories of dog pictures we have.

Umbra only partly in picture because trying to lick photographing person's nose

Umbra eating (food, snow, somebody's hand)

Umbra wanting to be petted (and succeeding)

Umbra playing (with humans or other dogs)

Umbra sleeping / lying around

Makes me wish I were a dog.
