Also, when I drove up to my parents with my brother before Christmas, we were somewhat surprised not to hear Christmas songs on the radio all the time. No "Last Christmas" in three hours!
There was, however, quite appropriately, "Driving home for Christmas".
And there was this one which is a bad, bad earworm, but I like it.

I still owe you a card, BTW. We will call it a "winter card" because it'll probably get there this winter.

Your only consolation is that NO ONE got a holiday card from us this year, despite my good intentions.

Well, from the weather reports we get here, you have enough on your hands with not snowing in or being hit by floods, so don't worry about cards.
