dream_labyrinthI would love to take a look at the Conservapedia, but their server seems to be down.
Such a pity.
However, not only does the site already have an entry in the German version of Wikipedia, that entry is also already marked for deletion. Most commenters think that, where Conservapedia is concerned, it is very fitting that the word Enzyklopädie (encyclopedia) contains the word Klo (toilet).
They also quote the article on Germany from Conservapedia:
A country in central Europe that was blamed for both Wolrd Wars and claimed to be the dominate race of mankind.
And here are we, spending years of our lives learning about our history, geography, political and social situation when all it takes is one sentence.
And a map. We must not forget the map, or the writers over at this highly informative site might consider us just another bunch of liberal, atheist monsters with devilish English spelling.
In other news, when I came home from work today (down to N° 230!!), I found a huge box in front of my door that clearly stated it contained a microwave. It was addressed to me, but as I obviously hadn't ordered it, I called my Mom and asked her whether she knew anything about it.
It is indeed an early birthday present! They had told her it wouldn't be sent until the 8th, so she was really surprised that it was here already.
I have only used it (the microwave, not the box) to heat a cup of water to check whether it works but it looks quite nice and seems to be working wonderfully, which I will test tomorrow.
Because for lunch, I made myself enough to have some leftovers, as now I can reheat anything without so much hassle as I had before.
That makes me really happy!
Tomorrow, I'll have to go to the hairdresser and I'm also going to buy a few things I think I need. Then I will bake something, just for the fun of it. I had thought I would bake something for people at work the week after my birthday, but so many of my friends aren't there that week that it makes sense to postpone the celebrating to the week after hat, which will be the time two friends have their own birthdays, so we might decide to have a big breakfast at the mess for everybody.
