Icon Meme:

Reply to this post, and I will tell you my favourite icon of yours. Then post this to your own journal using your own favourite icon.

Why is this my favorite icon?
This is a scan of a card from one pack of patience cards. I have always loved to play solitaire or patience games. I've learnt them from my grandmother, who knew one game that I found much later in an old book; the Dowager Patience is a game for two and I spent hours playing with her.
I'm always curious about the pictures on playing cards. We used to have a pack of cards that used the German suits (hearts, bells, leaves, and acorns for hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs), but dwith Jack, Queen and King instead of the traditional German Unter, Ober and King; and it had the loveliest Queens I have ever seen.

For some reason, I really like Spades, and the Queen of Spades has for a long time been my favorite card of most decks.
This one looks rather serious at first glance, but she actually has a curious little smile, as if she knows something others don't.
She fits many moods. If she was a person, she would certainly have a lot of charisma. She is in many ways what I would like to be.

If I knew how to get the icon to show up here, I would.
But anyway, it's this one (http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/47224222/1920950) (dark one).
Though I also love the "Accept Christ" one and of coursde the "Yes pornography" one.

That's my favorite icon of yours. The queen looks very regal, sniffing her rose. Like you said I think she would be very charismatic, able to convince people to do what she wants with out having to resort to using her powers as queen.

Which of my icons do you like best??

The cat with the gun one, definitely. Though Leviticus is a close second. :-)

You rarely use it but I like your religion Icon.

I've always had a soft spot for traditional Mary images.

Ah, that one is from an icon I got in Poland.
It shows Mary, but not with baby Jesus but with a book. It was my favorite on sale in that tiny church in a small town in Poland that happened to have a German priest, which was really surprising.

And even though you didn't ask, I like your "Eye" icon best. :-)

My absolute favorite is your "Just you wait 'til I write about this in my online journal" icon.
Because it's just so fitting for any RL post.

It's hard for me to say this because David Bowie is the scariest man ever and Labyrinth is the scariest movie ever, but I really like "Damn, I'm Good." Egoism wins with me every time.

I really like the nuns with guns icon of yours.
Though the one I most easily recognize as "you" is the "Pass the damn ham".
If we ever meet, make a face like that and I'll recognize you immediately. ;-)
