Wrapping up
Dec. 27th, 2004 09:00 pmFrom what I've read in my friends' journals so far, most people had a great Christmas, if not - like me - the greatest Christmas ever. (Of course, I am writing "Christmas" just because I am lazy. Insert a winter holiday of your choice.) That is so wonderful. Christmas tends to be more stressfull than anything else, and often so expensive! This year was simply cool. Of course, I still haven't found out how much it'll cost to get my car running again. But I've decided to let that worry me next year. I can't do anything right now anyway, so why should I spend my time pondering something I don't know any facts about and can't change anything about. Yuck, my English sucks today.
I had a long lasting Bowie moment this afternoon. I watched the DVDs. I now finally know where many of
agrathea's icons come from. I smiled a lot. I sang along. I am so glad that Labyrinth and its fandom led me to David Bowie. He's the first musician I was interested in for a longer time, and the first person who doesn't repeat himself all the time, which usually makes me get bored with many singers.
So, the Bowie moment started this afternoon and is still going on. Over four hours of watching the DVDs, all through dinner, and that was one hour ago. I know what I am going to dream tonight.
On the 31st I am going to watch a lot of music. 3Sat, a German TV station, will broadcast concerts of all sorts of musicians. There's even Robbie Williams. I like him. One of the "I'm in there for the money" people, but at least he's honest about it.
I still need to write the entry telling you why
rev_tobias rocks. But I haven't seen him around for a while, so I guess he'll accept my apologies for the delay.
I don't have anything else to say. But did that ever stop me from posting?
Edit: I got another Christmas card today. From Australia. The American mail seems to be lost over the ocean. *sigh*
