So, as I have said before, I'm going to start working next week. Woohoooo. The peasants rejoice, to quote somebody from my flist.
Okay, calm down again.
Now for the bad news.
On Sunday, I'll leave for Munich. My brother has found somebody who isn't home until Tuesday, and I can have that guy's room. But I most likely won't have a computer. Maybe I find an internet cafe with reasonable rates, or my brother's university has a place I can go, but I don't really expect to be online from Sunday sometime before noon until Tuesday. At the earliest.
I have the appointment in Munich and then I'll drive to Hammelburg. Three hour ride. There I'll get myself settled in the room they will hopefully provide for me. Again, I am dependant on internet cafes or computers accessible for people on the base.
And then, I don't want to start my working life by spending hours on the internet for private stuff. So until I get an own apartment and my own internet access, I think I won't be able to keep track of my flist like I used to do. Just to warn you.
I do hope I can use the computer at my workplace after hours, though. Depends on how strict they are. And it isn't really a question I can ask on my first day of work.
If I were in America, I'd just go to the library. But I am not, and in Germany, even if the library does have public internet computers, they'll most likely be not much cheaper than an internet cafe. We'll see.
This is all. Yes, I wrote all this only to tell you I might not write much in future.
