Not much of a surprise here.

Which reminds me, in the restaurant yesterday evening they had a Santa Claus with Reindeer decoration. Santa held the reindeer by the antlers(vocabulary?) and kind of stood behind it. My mind took very un-chrismas-y turns as to what he was doing there before I had figured out he was wearing ice-skates and I guess he was being pulled by the reindeer. But believe me, it looked very... er... interesting.

And thinking in two languages can result in new words. On Wednesday I was thinking that I got my letters send out and how good it was to know that the stamps to send letters within Europe are the same as for letters within Germany - only I didn't think the word "stamp" but the word "letter mark". As the German word for stamp is "Briefmarke", and Brief means letter, I guess it's clear where that is coming from. Still, it is weird.

And I need to get a christmas icon.
