I've watched Dark Harbor.

Do you know the feeling when a movie, or something you read, leaves you with the feeling that the world around you is somehow off key, as if everything was just a little off, just not quite as you remembered it to be? Nothing tangible, but everything feels just a little wrong.

I feel like that right now.

I'll have to watch it again at some point, several times probably, but not immediately. I'll send it back to amazon and put it on my lending list again.

It's one of the movies you can't explain, really. Not because it would spoil the story, but simply because so much of it is happening in your head.

And it's Maine. The pictures, the house cramped full with memories, that's Maine as I remember it; I could see my friends walking along those paths and sitting in those chairs and it was eery how familiar a completely unknown setting could look.

I think it is a movie I'd want to own. But not in this version. I couldn't switch of the sodding subtitles.

so we dont have to worry about spoilers.

That Maine place (as seen on the movie) is kinda eerie/creepy. It doesnt remind me of ANYTHING in Australia

The subtitles are annoying. Which is why I went and made a "safety copy" of my DVD, without subtitles. I'll put it on the list of movies for you, mkay?
