Just for fun, I googled both my real name and my online name. Found out I am still the only living person online with my exact name, which is cool.

Also found an answer to a commentI had left on a picture at Sycophant Hex Illusions. It was a picture of the heads of the houses and Dumbledore. One girl had commented before me, in French, that she didn't quite like the way Snape was drawn, and I said even though I liked the picture I agreed with that girl in that I saw Snape more like the actor.

Now I found this comment by the artist that seemed rather rude to me.

Here's what I said:
Great Picture! I agree with Linoika, I usually imagine Snape looking more like Rickman, too, he seems quite young in your picture. BUt I love your Dumbledore, and Flitwick's just cute!

And here's the answer:
Well, dream_labyrinth, I'm glad you you can read what linoika said...me, I'm an undereducated American and all I can figure out is that she's speaking French. How'd you like to give a translation? As for the Snape likeness, this one is closer to how I've always seen him since reading the books. I love Alan Rickman, but he is really too old for the part, IMO.

Yes, so we disagree on how Snape should look. And yes, so I am able to understand a bit of French. But I never implied anything like the artist being undereducated. I would have considered it rude to comment something like "Linoika said [translation of the French text] and I agree with her", because after all there are people who do speak French and I am not going to guess who does and who doesn't.
It just seems needlessly aggressive to me.
