I just figured why I seemed to have missed so much and had to read through quite afew friends' posts. I went to visit my Grandma yesterday and couldn't check LJ as often as I usually do.

Those lines always touch me. Having tried to build a marriage on that basis, and having been on the other end, the person who could have anything but love I know just the kind of painful situation they are describing.

I have been wondering whether a relationship on that basis would work. I thought it couldn't. And I believe it's not fair for the person who doesn't get the love they give.
