Jun. 13th, 2005 04:48 pmI have done absoluetly nothing substantial today. Checked my list of material with the list the material management people have. It really is the same list, I got my copy from them in the first place, so it is rather pointless. The idea is that I tell them when something from the list is missing, but while it has to be done every six months is beyond me.
Then we realised that the computers have not been moved from the list of the old, no longer existing departments to my new department. It's basically the change of one number on the record, but it meant that I had to fill out a sheet of paper for each department that is now incorporated in mine, walk to the material management to check whether it was okay, go to the IT administration department to have them change their records and sign the papers, then go to my own boss and get them signed, then return them to material management
And while the IT administration is in my building, my boss and the material management are not.
Now I'll go shopping.
